OTTAWA – The Canadian Construction Association’s (CCA) new cross-country docuseries Construction for Canadians Tour is seeking nominations from members and partners across the country.

“Whether you’re a small, medium or large firm, if your project tells a compelling story about why construction matters, we want to hear about it,” states the association.

Specifically, the CCA is looking for projects that:

  • Demonstrate innovation, impact or community value
  • Overcame unique challenges or showcase innovation and climate readiness
  • Represent a range of project types, such as municipal or commercial developments, trade infrastructure, care centres, roads/highways and industrial or institutional builds
  • Reflect the diversity of Canada’s construction industry and the communities it serves
  • Tell a strong story about why construction matters to Canadians.

This 11-episode series will follow CCA president Rodrigue Gilbert on a coast-to-coast tour with local members of parliament along for the ride.

Filming will take place from June to September.

The CCA notes selected projects will be featured as part of a high profile national storytelling initiative, with content used across advocacy, media, digital platforms and future CCA campaigns.

The deadline for submission is April 24.
