TORONTO – Infrastructure Ontario (IO) has two new members on its executive team.
Jody Becker joined IO as chief capital officer earlier this year and Angela Tancock will join as chief administrative officer, effective Jan. 19.
According to a release, Becker will oversee the project delivery and commercial advisory business lines, while advancing IO’s mission to modernize infrastructure for the province’s communities.
She brings more than 25 years’ leadership experience in infrastructure operations, strategy, governance and project delivery. Most recently, she served as chief strategy officer at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority.
Previously, Becker was chief operating officer for a Canadian construction and building services company and directed growth, digital transformation and sustainability initiatives across health care, transit and energy sectors, both nationally and internationally, the release adds.
Tancock has more than 20 years’ experience and joins IO from Norton Rose Fulbright. At the firm, she served as chief operating officer overseeing operations, finance, human resources, facilities, procurement, technology and other services. During her tenure, she “built a transformation and project management framework tying initiatives directly to strategy, as well as a roadmap aligning skills, technology and capital investments with firm strategy,” the release notes.
At IO she will oversee the consolidation of the organization’s enabling functions, including human resources, information technology, finance, lending, enterprise risk, internal audit and business services.
